november 2023 tunes~

TBH I do not want to recap this month because zooweemama there was a lot. First of all, it was the start of a month where I finally survived October. I was preparing myself for Las Vegas and my hair chop... as well as my last month of living in the Tosa Village area. Selling furniture, getting over the fact that I look like an out butch lesbian, trying to lean into it while simulataneously finishing final sessions with a therapist I didn't click the best with, and even doing some escapism with my pirate cunty boyfriend in Ikemen Sengoku. THANK GOD for Starkid in Chicago with Sammi ... but fuck, I moved all my plant children to a girl's house that I thought was my friend and that I thought would take good care of my plant children. "Wow, I feel so special to have over $1000 of plants in my home omg I love feeling in a jungle!" ... not 8 weeks later, they all are abandoned to freeze in a house that lost its power and their parent was not notified until three / four days later to a little bitch crying via text and call, begging said child-less plant parent to essentially emotionally coddle her while she is shitting herself for abandoning and damning my children to die due to water in their cellular walls to freeze and expand, rupturing the shit out of their support systems... to then have power back on a few days later, defrosting said obliterated backbones and slightly slow cooking the left behind cell juice to mold inside of their stretched out and deflated skins... slowly drying... ah, now I know why I stopped here months ago last time I actually updated this fucking blog. 😁😁😁

Anyways, back to November. The plant killer got my kids, Melo had some last daycares and my family came for "thanksgiving." Not only did they come, but so did my Korean firends from Winona - Kyurim and Kyungbin! Holy crap did I miss seeing both! They are so them and that's freaking cool, man. But did we eat and drink too hard? Yes. But was it nostalgic? Absolutely!

Also don't get me started on me downloading photos of throuples?! Oh my, I just stumbled upon Jin from BTS pinterest downloads too..

Okay now we are all like "wtf am I reading" but also I think I need to finish my Novmber story. I randomly got asked to go to Montvale for a workshop!?!?!?!?!? I found out like 5 days before and I am pretty sure it was a pity invite but also slayyyyyyyy I'll fucking go to NJ and NYC for the first time on company time and (mostly) company money >:)))))

I flew in a day early and immediately took a taxi to NYC Times Square just to see the place I hear to much about in moves, tv, so on.. and lemme tell ya, it was so underwhelming?!!?! And also taxis are god damn expensive there!?!?!@?#!? $115 for Newark to Times Square. Innnnnsanity. And only cuz I was too chicken to take the subway.. to only be acting all tweaky in the streets . So when my university friend Hyewon agreed to meet me, I gulped, found a subway entrance, bought a ticket, and found my platform ☠️🗿 (btw - just found out 🗿's name is Moai btw in case that was not common knowledgeeee) I was talking with my mom on the phone while on the platform to put off the vibe of "don't talk to me" with my sunglasses, hat, crossed arms, gaze to where the train is supposed to come from, and airpods in phone conversation ... BUT LOW AND BEHOLD, Nina the crackhead still managed to attract a weirdo. This dude walked up and complimented my air force ones.. dude these are not new looking kicks so I knew he was BULLSHITTING AN EXCUSE TO START TALKING WITH ME. What about my demeanor was inviting ?!!? Are these people just so turned on and are trying to get their shit beat or?!?!? I still made it to Hyewon's workplace (yeah, she agreed to meet only there but was really not wanting me to come?!?!) Dude I gotta eat and HELL YEAH I'd have Korean fried chicken. But she was weirdly cagey most of the time and so that I don't feel weird, I drank. LMFAO and I was trying to get an appt for nails by the hotel my company paid for. Slightly wacky so I don't think I'll be first to reach out again...

Yep, I got my nails did and had to go to this workshop with my butch lesbian cut. I dressed up super non-binary and if you really think about it, that was freaking brave in front of all these 40+ year olds that lowkey didn't care if I lived or died. Luckily, two of them did and thank god they were my little mini team within the program. It was ROUGH out there... we had good food that lowkey gave me food poisoning, so I was glad they only invited me for 1.5 days - the next day I just had to pack up and attend 1/2 a session before my flight out. I could not have left sooner. Oh also, the fire alarm goes off right when I get downstairs to meet Magdalena to walk to the office vs. taking a taxi. They looked at us like we were psycho, but something about walking 40 mins to get somewhere just feels right to us damn Polish gals. She was so cool to want to do that with me.

I made it back to Milwaukee, drove to meet Jim at a show and drinking, finally returned home, slept on the ground, listened to BTS music, and passed out to then wake up, pack my car of my last items (i mostly lived in two duffels at that point), vacuumed, then drove home to my parent's place for the next few months, and finally me free of my bastard downstairs landlord. The last day of November was my first day of "living back home with the parents, again" and whoooooo-weee~! That was a trip 😶‍🌫️
