Korea in 1958-59
I have an older neighbor who has served in the US Army as a tank technician and engineer during the Korean War who I absolutely adore. He's not only an extremely warm and bubbly man, but also a photographer that absolutely loves his family, friends, and fresh martinis while watching the sunset. I asked if I would be able to share his wonderful collections of photos he took while serving, to which he replied, "of course, but who would really care to see that?"
We all know he doesn't give himself enough credit for being able to capture an insider look into military life in pre-modern Korea, but he also does not enough credit to the photos themselves for being in such great shape after floating around his home in a sandwich bag. These 60-plus year old photos are extremely precious and I hope that you all can enjoy seeing Korea in the late 1950s.
